To get heli badge?

If you post time in a trans heli will you get heli badge or do you have to get kills in an attack chopper ?

You can use any helicopter for time and kills. However, most find it much easier to get both in the attack chopper.

Thats if you want to do it the stat padder way. Its not hard to do it normally, and you feel more of a sense of accomplishment when you do. To answer your question, the heli badge is awarded no matter whant type of heli you are in.

if you need time in a chopper go commander and hop ina passenger seat you can command from the black hawk. plus the artilery counts as kills toward your badge so you dont have to worry about getting redlined when gunning in an A/C
