Sever Refused Connection

Ok ive been playing BF2 without any patches for about 7 days yesterday i DL'ed the patch (the latest) and installed there where no problems with the install aside from the 1-2 min wait for it to start anyways when i start up the game and get to the login screen i get "sever has refused the connection" no matter what. I reinstalled atleast 3 times but still no luck can anyone help me with my delimia PLZ
