    Round Wins Vs. Stats

I just found this very interesting.
I don't personally care for stats, but I noticed one thing:

I noticed a lot of high ranking people have a very good win:loss ratio. Do you guys think that this is because the majority of them team switch and stuff like that, or is it just that over time the wins overtake the losses?

I myself have played over 350 hours and play pretty well, but I have a win:loss ratio of under 1.

Anybody have any ideas if this is just a coincidence or if there is more to it?

I was just wondering if you guys had any insight into the idea...

Team switching. Stats are MEANINGLESS. It's not that they're there, it's how you earnt them. Maybe we'll get stats about stats, but that'll end up being abused too.

There's stats now? All this time I thought BF2 was about padding and nade spamming.

            My life is a lie.

IIRC, in order to get the win, you must be on the winning team for 5 minutes. That could be complete BS, but I think I read that here somewhere. You must spawn and play for 5 minutes in order to be eligible for the win. I'm am not intending to mislead anyone about team switching and getting a win.

It could be stacked teams as well. Clans and/or a tightknit group of guys can really run the tables on lame-o pubbers.

Probably due to the fact that they are the players taking one minute to look at the map and determine what bridge could be blown, vehicles stole, flag capped, snipers placed and so on...to change to course of the battle, basically they are the difference between 2 countires fighting but one have super spec ops commando team and an army while the other has just an army

Generally, the main reason is the higher ranked players play in a clan with other good players.

Round starts, they all switch to one side, and begin to own the uncoordinated average players on the other side.

                  Team work= Win

team switching won't work for you to well, you have to be on the winning side for the majority of the round, the main reason on pubs is team stacking, but if your a really good player you know how to turn the battle in your favor even if your team sucks, on clan servers it usually involves vent/TS and teamwork, as usually the majority of the clan is on the same side working together and updating each other on voice.

yeah i reckon VoIP is essential for a good team, just to update intel between squad members and the leader...
