to patch or not to patch (1.41)

hi to all,
i'm new to this game (ok noob) and i've just bought it. i'm just wondering if this new patch (1.41) is stable enough for me to install it? Does anyone found any problems with it?

it will fix nearly all of the crash to desktops. since i patched i havent had any problems. get it i say...

I don't theres many servers if any on old patches apart from fresh install no patches...but I say get it also...you'll be able to play Infantry with it..

1.41 will be a massive drop in performance from 1.0 retail, but simply for the server choice its worth patching.
