High Ping?

Ok so I have the following computer:
-AMD 64 3300+ Processor with 2.4 GHZ
-1024.5 RAM
-Nvidia Geforce 6600 LE 256 MB
And the game runs smooth as butter even on high graphics. But I get a high ping why is this?

i thought u already solved ur ping problem in the other thread

and does ur computer really run bf2 on high graphics relaly smoothly? im reduced to med/high with my setup
