Can't change resolution

Hey fellas I just built a new pc. I have:

e4300
evga 8800gtx
p5b deluxe wifi
2X1GB corsair XMS2 pc3200C4
Samsung 226BW

Now when I go to change the resolution I see the max which is 1280X1024. My monitor can hanlde 1680X1050. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

with the shortcut for bf2
right clik > properties > and in the target box it should look like
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024"

add the bolded part at the end except change the 1280 and 1024 to w/e values u want

Then you didn't do it right. It will still say 12x10 in the game, but it will be set to the correct resolution.

Oh, and if you'd read the stickies, you wouldn't have felt the need to make this thread.
