I think my game is ruined

Im probably overreacting but whatever. I took out all my favourites after a really succesful run on Sharqi, later in the day i wanted to play again but every server was on crazy ping like 1000-2000 and i couldn't connect and when i did i was kicked immediately for "excessive teamkilling". THEN i went to have a clan game and everything was fine, it all worked very well. Now, this morning i have tried to go on and again, it's on 1000-2000 ping and it won't connect. Also, whenever i do try to connect to a server it adds that server to my favourites.

Here are a few things that could of caused it..
- My internet is sometimes slow after donwloading large files, which i did both yesterday and today before Bf2.
- Today i was stupid enough to try and download a full version of Fraps which turned out to be a virus or something, i quickly deleted everything that had to do with this fraps file
- I think deleting favourites could of done something to my game. This would be more easy to understand if it hadn't worked at night time during the two sessions (yesterday at noon and today at noon).

I have no idea what to do and i need your help.

I would suggest that because you downloaded that virus version of FRAPS that its still on your computer and its downloading stuff while your playing and making your ping go really high. You should try scanning your computer for spyware/viruses and delete them. That could fix the problem.

i can probably guess you tried to get it off somekind of P2P software which are usually loaded with virus's in the 1st place

I was an idiot for doing it, im aware but whatever, turns out it was not the virus just some simple internet problems with the company, i was overreacting.

The virus is gone and it wasn't much of a virus, really. Turned out to be more of a minor nuisance which i got rid of in minutes.

If you dont have it I would recommend you download and run adaware and spy-bot search and destroy. You can get them from castlecops.com both of them are free.

Everytime you play a game a server will be added to your favorites because favorites is your history too. They did a ****ed up job on it too...Nothing is responsive on it The refresh button gets rid of all the servers...Do not connect by favorites just get the ip from it (if you can) and connect to IP. See if you can get on the sharqi server with another account
