    EOD 2 Shadder error.......

When I play BF 2 it works great but when i try to play EOD I get a shadder error " mods/bf2/shadders/staticmesh.fx not found.Do check your working directory and sync your shadders folder".Why is this? What's the work around? If there is will it effect my original BF2.This file is in the shadders client rar file in my BF2 mod folder BF2.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

    Thanks

I was playing EoD2 fine, but I installed OPK2 and it appears to be happening.

Edit: Try this link http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76303. Also, try reinstalling the mod, I reinstalled OPK2 and its working now.

I am having the exact same error. I've uninstalled BF, repatched it, reinstalled EOD2, unpacked the shaders into the shader folder, etc etc etc and I still get the exact same error.

I can't think of anything else to try. The file is definately in the folder but I still get the error. Anyone have any other ideas?

I have never had this issue and am not sure how to advise you guys to fix it. I'll post and ask around, however.

I am geting the same problem : (

Okay I was messing around with it and i found the problem... for myself atleast! First delete the EOD BF2 shortcut off your desktop. Next go into your Battlefield 2\mods\EoD folder and with out making a short cut go to the EOD BF2 file and change properties. For example this is what mine looks like!

          TARGET: "C:\Rich\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/EoD
          START IN: "C:\Rich\Battlefield 2"

I think the problem was copying the EOD BF2 file to the desktop FIRST then changing it. Change it first see if it runs then copy to desktop if needed.

          Hope this helps!
