New High scores glitch

[Sir. {RF}TFS]

It appears that there is a problem which enables kill stat enhancement on a stupid level . Look at the top 16 players here for combat http://www.bf2stats.com and check out some of the names like InBefore_THEFIX . Looks like a problem with Daqing judging by their stats. Now how long do we think before EA sort it out ??

just another reason to play mods and realize that stats mean absolutely nothing. you cant base everything on stats when you have as many holes in the coding as dice.

I really hope they take the stats system down, then maybe, we can actually play a game of BF2, and not statfield 2. Also, maybe get some server side mods going ^_^

Fix = patch?

BF2 is getting yet another patch? Well well. It will not fix stats thing though, because new ones can be found and created anytime. So would it be time to take stats down?

And in before the patch! Yay!

If they ever get rid of the stat system, this game will die so fast it will make your head swim. There are folks that will abuse anything just like the stat system, they are the same folks that try to see there mom naked. Then there are the vast majority of folks that work hard to achieve the various benchmarks to achieve ranks, badges, etc. That makes the game enjoyable and adds longevity to it as well. I am not knocking mods in anyway, just being honest look how many people play them now. Its not many. If EA or Dice was smart what they would do is to create a set of guidelines modders should follow. Then the modder submits the mod to EA for approval. If it fits the guidelines after review from EA, then they should allow the stat system to be used for the mod. As it stands now, mod teams work there butt off on a mod only to release it and two weeks later no one is playing it and gone back to regular BF2. Sad but true.

The problem is greater than a "glitch"... those guys are using some ranked server with a modified scoringcommon.py ... that means: EA and his trusted partners (Ranked Server provider) do not care about BF2 anymore (old news).

sposedly lord of weed got reset accidently by EA, coz of the amount of nade kills he had compared to deaths.

what with the whole server scam with 14,000,000 points EA got jumpy

Who cares if LoW got reset? All he did was play Karkand as support and spam grenades with his macros while he sat in a coffee shop all day selling dope.

I guess what I should be saying is why do you even care about the leaderboard at all?
