Jet Repair Question

I have a few questions about repairing jets while flying. Any answers welcome.

1) What are the criteria for repairing a jet in flight? I was flying the J-10 on the Chinese side on 64 Dragon Valley. I got damaged into the red and decided to make a few passes to get repaired. I made about 10 passes and didn't get repaired once. I tried all different altitudes including one that made me nearly hit the hangar. I also tried to run the entire length of the airstrip by flying low on approach. Any thought? And yes we had the refinery flag.

2) Assuming you answered 1 above: is it the same for when the flag is ours and when the flag is neutral?

the flag with the airstrip has to be controlled by your team.

and, fly over the green boxes over teh runway to get repaired.
the closer and slower the better, just make shure you can get up and fly away first.

if you were flying low and slow over the runway and the flag was either yours or neutral... you should have been being repaired. you could try different areas of the airfield, but near where the jet spawns and its line of takeoff is usually the best spot. landing and taxiing around might help because repairing can take a long time (5-10 slow passes) but only do that if you know there isnt an enemy jet flying around.

the runway is not what repairs you in some cases, those green boxes you were talking about are.
For example, there are 2 runways for the US on kubra dam, however only one of them repairs you.

And it also has to be neutral or controlled by your team.

green box with a red little flag or w\e on top


for example on oman mec airfield

the box is located right by the uav

you can fly over it at any angle and ull get repaired, slow down a little bit and fly as close to it as you can, you only need to fly over it like twice if ur down to three bars

carrier i land and taxi, then take off, cous like ppl have probably noticed, there is no "green box or green building" just look for the wind indicator flag,and a small staircase to the roof of the "green box or green building"

so yeah, hope that i clarified some confusion on the "green box or green building'' Which happens to be what repairs you on all the airstrips
