announcing my retirement

today i had a problem with logging on to Battlefield 2 account server. i thought "unninstall then reinstall !! that fixes everything !!". oh boy was i wrong...

i unninstall the game, reinstall then log on. everything is workin perfectly. i click on the muktiplayer tab and all the servers show up red. i try to join one but it says i have a older version than ther server. "Z0mG 1 H4V3 PaTcH 1.3 !!" i am retiring from battlefield 2 because it takes me 5 or so hours to download patch 1.41 again on a 256k internet speed and i cant upgrade my internet because i am 13 and mum wont pay for it..

P.S: i will still be active on the forums and someday i might be bothered to download 1.41 again

I did the exact same thing, uninstall and reinstall then wait a good few years downloading the patch.

Have fun with what ever you do gaming wise, at least you wont be hearing "ENEMY SPOTTED!" in your sleep.

Btw the download limit made me lollers. We havent had something like that for over 5 years now. If anybody mentions the word limit in his broadband advertisement they can immediatly shut the doors of their company.
