Newb needs help

Greetings all

Not sure whether to put this here or in the support area.

I have just purchased this game (BF2 Deluxe Edition) and am after some advice. When buying the game the guy at the store said I would need to download updates to be able to play most of the BF2 games online.

I'm very new to computers and have pretty much no idea what he was talking about.

Can anyone point me in the right direction in regards to where i can pick up these updates for BF2 so i can hop online with everyone else?

I think what you mean is patches. This changes online play, the latest patch is a large file so you need to be patient while it installs, maybe download it overnight.

As for where to find it, Google will help you there. Sites like Filecloud and Fileshack.

you can get the 1.41 patch directly from EA also:
