A couple questions

I used the search function and didn't see a definite answer so I thought I would ask. I have two questions actually.

First, on the Veteran Transport one of the requirements is 5 road kills in a round. Would a road kills count if you run up to a bunch of infantry, F2 to machine gun and kill them? Or would my best bet be, run up in there and run as many over as possible?

Second, I am looking for a good helicopter pilot and a good jet pilot. I would like to ride along with them to see two things. First to learn some evasion techniques in a jet and the same in a helicopter. And secondly, to observe the machine gun techniques of good pilots. I rode along with a guy on Tabara Quarry and besides getting my Crew Service Ribbon learned the importance of laying down fire with the machine gun on infantry below. I was under the thinking this was a role more for the attack helicopter but now see the jet can do it well too. If there is any folks out there that would take the time to let me fly with them and show me the ropes a bit, please PM me with info on how I can contact you or meet up with you.

No1 is road kills.
No2 I can't help with at all (sorry). When I get into a jet or Helo, I get dizzy, airsick, press "e" when I mean "w" etc etc. i'm totally crap

Roadkills are garnered in two ways.

Way #1: Run over them in your specified vehicle.

Way #2: Shoot a nearby vehicle until it explodes, which causes the death of a nearby infantry-man. The death caused by that vehicle is then tallied up to your 'roadkills.'

However, with way #2. The tallies are not based on the vehicle that you're in, which had caused the explosion. Instead, it's based on the vehicle that you blew up, which had inadvertantly caused the death of the nearby infantry man.

So therefore if you're in a tank, and you blow up a transport, and the person in the transport bails out and died via the transport's explosion. You would get 1 roadkill for transports, and not tanks. This is why jet whores who've never been in a transport before, have gotten hundreds of transport roadkills.

You don't learn from playing with a better player. Trust me, I've tried this. The best way to learn is by 'watching' better players. Go through the media section or do dozens of searches on these web-forums for movies of great jet pilots, and helicopter duo's/solo'ers.

Watch their moves in action. Imitate their moves in game. Improvise on their moves by adding your own style. Improve on their moves by integrating your style with theirs.

Dairuka has spoken, the only reason I'm good now is because I watched and studied the vids of other good players.

But for jets I just didn't need practice because of so many other dogfighting PC games I had already played.

Nuff said....if you need help PM Dairuka, he knows alot.
