Armored Fury Error. (HELP!)

Thanks to anyone who may provide me with help,

First, I'm not a hacker nor ever hacked in BF2 - I tried it as a RvS player in 2005 and it ruined the game for me.

I bought the Armored Fury expansion through the EA update program, installed it, and tried to run it. Instead, it gives me an error that I need to revert to my unaltered version of BF2. I'm not completely sure what this means, but it will not let me play the game.

Are there updates to Armored Fury that I do not know about?

I've tried getting through to EA, but that is like pulling teeth on a toothless woman.

Any help?

ummm... sounds like you need to reintall BF2. Weird bug that happens which talks about "modified content"...

Have you re-patched to 1.41 after you installed it?

Nope, no repatching to 1.41.

Is that difficult? To reinstall BF2? I've heard from someone else that it is not as easy as it sounds...

If it isn't too hard I might do it. But it looks like not too many people play Armored Fury...

Just run 1.41 patch, simple!
You should already have it, cos you patched BF2 right?
Just run the patch again.

Edit: If you didnt run 1.41 patch again after you installed Armored Fury, then that is definetely you fault!
