the next bf game is obviously going to be back in time....remakes dont sell as well as new stuff, because, well, remakes are old content.

EA has already gone too far into the future, so obviously they have to go into the past.

midevil times are unlikely, because all the bf games always feature guns, and theres not really that more than ONE kind of bow and arrow....unless EA thinks up some awesome sword fight type of fighting, with blocks and thrusts parries ect.

so most likely, its going to be either WWI or The Civil War. Or revolutionary, but thats a bit too far back....i mean, 2 minutes to reload your musket with one shot? yeah that might get a bit boring. plus no semi auto weapons in revolutionary war......in the CIVIL war, there were bolt action springfields and semi-auto colt pistols. now the civil war would make quite a nice game.....

there is one in the top which shows everyones name, health and kit

at the bottom there is a permenent crosshair?

Dagger=knife&Pistol

Sword for one side. Battleaxe for the other = Main weapon e.g. AK101/AK47/M16A2

There would be no "Grenades" I think.

The "Crossbow" would be the sniper rifle.

And the regular Bow&Arrow would be...ummmm...the "grenade launcher" for the....ummm....caslte raider kit (assault in Bf2 xD)

And for claymores...it would be umm....a piece of wood with nails sticking up so when you step on it xD!!!

actually, off topic but so what, unless they have already, they should do 'Top Trumps' for Guns/ Weapons

oh and to who posted about the medieval version. what would the main wep be? an axe, or a sword. n to reach out to those nade lovers, they could have throwing axes that take out whole squads, like a boomerang effect!!!...................................

I think they need to quit making the battlefield series, they killed it after BFV.
Now they are just bleeding it dry and punters pockets. its becoming like the SIMS for gods sake, there will be more expansions and follow ups then you can imagine. "Listen makers of BF STOP" i know your thinking, but there nieave and buy dross. well i aint and wont buy another BF.
