Happening to me in the UK since some time late on Sunday. Is there any other way to play??? Do you have to go through EA to play this game??



Are there alternative games on the same level as this? I've tried Counterstrike, but it's too limited for my liking - seems to be the same thing over and over again. Am I missing something? At least BF2 gives some variation in the way the game evolves, I feel. Best variation on what 'role' you can play as well.

Any other games that are currently favourite? Never tried Half-Life, but then again, I prefer conventional warfare gaming. Can't be doing with 'lasers' and stuff. Call of Duty UO fell short for me too - the maps are too small!

And why is this forum so damn slow!! Took me 10 minutes to register, and then ages to be able to post anything. I'm on 8Mb ADSL in the UK, and don't have any problems with other sites (except Gamespy!)

I read in the 2142 forun its to do with gamespies network. That came from a dice member.

I have had problems with this site and total2142 having time outs and not loading and being very slow. Does the mouse need to be better fed guys??

Ranting about it won't solve anything. Come on guys, I know most of us have nothing to do at 8:22 PM at night but to be quite hypocritical, it's just a game..

A week off it can't hurt us that much..I don't intend to cause a flame war, but people seem to be getting worked up about it too much. Yes, it's fustrating, but can it Kill you?

I dont mean to offend Bf2; best game ever. But chill people.Just relax and enjoy this gorgous night

still cant get on at 2154 GMT i mean this is stoopid, wtf has gamespy done?


and the game takes ages to boot up, half the time i think my things dead

my reckon is 1.41 was soo bigs so that EA could plant spyware in everyones PC, then when people had downloaded anough porn used all the affected PC's as doomsday devices, only they came across a bug (as usual) and this happened instead

tell me about it havnt been able to login for 2 days one ea site says there trying to fix it in other words it could take days, how come my mate who plays that world of homos never get these problems its always ea, yeah mine says "server refused connection" and has for 2 days, but guess wot none ov my american buddies have had any trouble typical, ill bet it takes them ages to fix it

happened to me yesterday,but was working again today,then i stopped playing,when i tried to play again tonight about 6 pm uk,it was messed up again,and looks like ill not be playin tonight.

I dunno about you lot, but i've been without battlefield 2 for well over 12 hours.....I'm going cold turkey now. Gone all pale and shivering in the corner. Now i know what rehab feels like. I think we should all sit together in a circle and discuss our feelings. Wait....i forgot you guys have lives >_<. My bad <333
