Why another Ranked 24/7 Karkand w/ Vehicles Server?


Here’s why, since the release of BF2142 I have noticed a significant decline in the number of good Ranked 64- player Strike at Karkand servers and this makes me sad. L While there are a few popular 64- player Ranked Karkand servers most of them have too many stupid rules, are populated by team stackers, glitchers and hackers or they are run by Nazi administrators.

For this reason, we decided to host a Ranked 24/7 64- Player, Strike at Karkand w/ vehicles server. While players will be required to follow all EACS rules there will be no other stupid rules requirements or Nazi administrators for players to worry about. The intention of this server is to allow players to enjoy the full experience of all out war on the Karkand map as it was intended.

Please keep in mind that while there are no rules on this server we do not tolerate hackers, glitchers or bitchers and while we are required to enforce all EACS rules, we are not on their payroll therefore it is not our position to report violations we can just not permit or promote them on the server.

I would like to invite players from both the BF2 and BF2142 community that are interested in playing one of the most popular maps from the BF2 series the way it was intended to join us for some intense fun and carnage on this new ranked server.

I have listed all of the server and contact information below for those of you that may be interested in joining us for some for some good old Karkand carnage the way it was intended. However keep in mind what I said earlier in this thread. There are NO RULES other than the EACS rules which are required on all ranked servers. So if you are a player that can’t run with the big dogs then this is not the server for you!

The invitation to join us is open to all but be warned if you come to *****, complain or if you come to cause trouble please do us all a favor and just don’t come at all or you will be removed from the server so that you do not spoil other players enjoyment. Other than that have fun and enjoy the server. Thank you for your time and interest, I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield.

Thanks for the feedback guys. This server is located in Chicago and it is being hosted on a stand alone dual Xeon dedicated server by it self so there should be no lag at all.

Please keep in mind that I just setup the server late yesterday afternoon so it may take a while to populate. I would appreciate if interested community members would help get the word out.

This whole reason plus his solution is why I pay for an Oman server. Karkand isn't the only map in this game.

I can’t argue with you on that, you’re correct it's not. I enjoy Oman as much as the next player provided there are no stupid rules or Nazi administrators as I mentioned previously in this thread. If you give me your server and site information I would be interested in checking out your server as a change of pace to Karkand.

I enjoy Karkand with vehicles a lot as my stats will show There just are not many good 24/7 Karkand w/ vehicles servers that are not burdened by the problems I listed in my original post. I play BF2 under the names Chronic_Buzz and Binary_Killer so if you see me in the game give me a shout.:rock:

Yes base raping is allowed with or with out armor. I know some people don’t like this but no rules means no rules. If your team is so stupid as to allow the other teams armor in to your base then your team deserve to be based raped.


You can Jihad with vehicles if you choose, To be honest you can pretty much do as you please provided you don’t break the EACS rules. Hell I don’t even care too much about the language provided it is not racist in nature.

Like I said in my original post no stupid rules and no Nazi server administrators pestering you while you play. There will be administrators on the server most of the time but unless there is a serious problem you won’t even know they are there.

Karkand IO is alright, not the best gaming experience ever. Our team also has a 24/7 Karkand IO and it's fun in small doses.

Just like today, as USMC team I was able to capture half the flags in the back with only dying once and getting about 10-20 kills because of the squad I was leading. They were not the best players in the server but teamwork beats a lone wolf any day. By the time the MEC noticed, our squad and half the USMC forces were heading towards the last flag and the frag-fest between hotel and the USMC flags.

As for Karkand regular, how it should be always, is also fun. I am not as big as a tank whore as the all the top players so I do fine in ground combat. What I like about regular Karkand is that it somewhat eliminates the frag-fest.

I am working on getting the server populated but since I am not part of a group or clan it’s not like I have a player base to begin with:hmm: so I would appreciate any assistance community members could offer in getting the server populated with players. That is why I am trying to get the word out on the forums in a hope that players that are interested in playing Karkand with vehicles and no stupid rules come and visit the server.

You guys have my word that all players will be treated with respect and you will not and I repeat will not be hassled by administrators about the way you choose to play provided your violating the EASC rules.

I am not sure how else to get the server populated but I am sure once players give it a chance I am sure players will mark it as a favorite.

I am hosting the server on a dedicated box all by it self. The server is a dual Xeon with 2GB RAM and is located in Chicago so server performance and player pings should be real good.


If you have any suggestions for getting the server populated please feel free to share them with me. Once again thanks to everyone for their interest in the server

omg you serious, theres like no other Karkand server around, ive had the hardest time finding one,
oh wait april fools was like a day ago, sorry im a canadian we seem to be absent minded.
