project reality mod

im currently in the process of downloading the project reality mod. is this mod really worth downloading?

it looks great.

what r the graphics like.

will the mod work. i am a bit weary that im downloading it for nothing. if it doesnt work it will be a complete waste of time. i shall let u know what i think when its done.

We have a section dedicated to Project Reality; here.

As long as you are patched to 1.41, it should work flawlessly.

Make sure to uncheck all of your filters!

The graphics are pretty much the same as vBF2 - some weapons have higher resolution skins and better models, but for the most part, the graphics are unchanged.

One of our Public Relations guys is reskinning nearly every object in-game, atm.

This game is worth everything, just use voip, and take your time getting used to it.

The guy is a beast - you should see the amount of progress he has made in such a short amount of time :shock:.

He also did our 0.5 promo video.

EDIT: I guess he isn't so much 'reskinning' them, as enhancing the current skins.

It look almost realistic, but I think the picture just has too much noise.

It's a balancing act that is being looked into to add some gritty realism to the mod and stop the dirth of bland textures and obvious troops from living on our screens any further.

What do you mean noise? Isn't noise "sound"? Or are you all talkin' bout something else?
