How to Configure ports through Router/Firewall

My Firewall is Norton Internet Security and I have Windows Vista Firewall.


I need to know how to Open/Configure ports to fix my connection problems.

you shouldnt need to open any ports for BF2,,

you just need to make sure its in the Firewalls exception lists,

I keep getting disconected within the first 10 - 20 mins of play. It's not my Internet, ISp said nothing is wrong. It's my firewall I bet..Or what else can it be?? Punkbuster?

updating punkbuster might help, use the PBSetup here;

I've downloaded it as Pbsetup, where shall I put it?? Inside the Bf2 Folder?

it doesnt matter, it will scan for all PB protected games you have installed and update the PB files in their directorys

Well I managed to play a little longer..I still got disconnected though...

Im asking this because I can only play for 20 mins - an hour when I lose connection. It's not my internet (rang isp) so im guessing its firewall or ports etc. The servers dont crash and my ping is generally low..I have updated pb, my drivers, my system IS compatible so I dunno whats wrong
