Ex:Everyone one likes Gears of War, and for me, it's just plain, nothing special.

Considering your profile says you are 15, when did you last play the game? Now that you're older, you should really give it a try. It is seriously one of the best games ever made, and not in a Gears of War kind of way. This is back when PC Games were PC Games with large over-arcing stories and in-depth gameplay.

About a year or two ago. I found it very weird. It's not a game for me.

I had Deus Ex 2 for Xbox and I loved it. Never had a chance to play the first one. Would it be worth picking it up for cheap?

I'm surprised and a little hurt that people would dredge the monstrosity that was Deus Ex 2 up. Apart from throwing bodies around, setting them on fire and then putting it out there was nothing much to do.

I had to pick up a second copy (HAD to) after losing the first, and have burned an image to ensure I'll never be without it.

Unless I had read it in a review I would never heve known about another option of dealing with Agent Navarre in the 747. I don't want to reveal it, but try to think beyond the obvious. Think about how you might prevent the argument happening at all.
Little things like that, really made the game. Walking up behind two enemies and listening to them chatting about...nothing, but still being interested and absorbed into the game.

I can still remember playing the demo before it came out and thinking "This...this is amazing!". And then the game itself came along. Hot damn I've got to get it going tonight!

I'd also like to add that anyone who has played Deus Ex and has not read DOUG the Eagles fantastic guide must. I couldn't stop laughing throughout; http://www.it-he.org/deus.htm
