I apologize if this is a noob inquiry or if it has been discussed before, but how come I quite often join a BF2 server and cannot join/create squads?

It's a bug. Server must be restarted to fix it..

Hmm...that sucks, it happens in about 50% of servers I join these days.

Is it 24/7 Karkand servers? That's why then :p They never restart after before 99 rounds..

its not always 24/7 karkand servers :p

ive seen it in MPUK servers only 1 squad can be created on say USMC, but on Mec/China they can create the maximum

It really sucks when you get this bug on P.R, because the game relies on people being in squads in order for a lot of the features to work.

i.e. Rally points, limited kits etc.

i think its cause they've been locked. im sure someone said the admin does it
oh and you are trying to create a squad after you've spawned and not whilst on the 15 count?
