I had that exact thing a week or so ago. My video card is overheating, and I get that sometimes. It's the textures in memory getting corrupted.

You either need to increase your airflow past the video card or think about buying a new one.

I've had that one before, I think it happened because I would hold CTRL + Left and fire, then it would get stuck that way
