Shimmering Gun Textures!?

hey, i got shimmering textures on my gun, this also happened on my old pc, on my old i had a radeon 9550, on my new i have a 8800gts, anyone else have the same problem?

overheating perhaps?

I know alot of the texture problems are caused by an overheating GPU..

Try updating your drivers , most ppl find that fixes the prob

lol, i have updated the driver a few times, tried some other drivers, asked a huge computer forum that knows all about these things, my temps are fine- 53 idle 63 load

I have shimmering textures on my guns sometimes. I have used all available drivers for my card. I just ignore it at this point.

EDIT: And I HIGHLY doubt my card is overheating at 54 degrees with this card.
