Just installed BF2 and...

Well i just finished installing BF2 for the first time in my computer and its all good, except that when i go play online i only find about 2-3 games that i can play, but then when i toggle off the same version filter, alot alot of games come out but i cant play them because their not the same version.. so i was wondering is it something to do with having to download any patches? am i outdated, or doesnt anyone play BF2 any more well i dont know im new and still trying to get the hang of this.

Yes, you need the 1.41 patch full.

google it.

you only need that patch, not the ones before it

If you want BF2 to work you should get the FULL 1.41 version NOT the PATCH.

The patch only works if you already have 1.40 installed which you don't.

You should get the full version to be able to play.

The only 1.41 patch out is a cumulative patch...it works no matter what version you have installed.

Desertfalcon you have it cause TBF2 ownage was 1.41 and you need 1.41 to play poe2

It still is a patch, regardless, either an incremental or full, but it is still a patch. Also there is no incremental one.... Just stay on top of that crane, and you will be fine.
