To start off with, this isn't a thread whining about bad admins or crappy servers...I'd just like some opinions about it.
Today, on Internode's Shaqui server, I was playing as US and the round hadn't started yet. There were still about 4 players left to join and besides me, there were two other people in one clan. They were MEC and wanted to fly in the Mi-28. I wanted to practice flying around while waiting for the round to start. Note that I only wanted to practice flying, I didn't want combat. I politely asked the two clanners to leave me alone so I could practice...and they told me to f*** off, and talk to them when I became a Brigadier General. So I told them to f*** off and flew off to a corner of the map to practice the Split-S and Immelman manouvres. At that point, an admin who had been monitering us for a while gave me a warning about my swearing. OK, I swore and broke the rules. Now that was called for. I asked the admin if he could at least ask them to leave me alone so I could fly...but he told me to go practice in single player because other people wanted the chopper... (I was alone on my team)
So, I just wanted some opinions about it. When there is no one else on your team, and the round hasn't even started, is it ok to ask if you could just fly alone, without worrying about people shooting you down? :hmm:
