Help needed.
Taking map Dragon Valley 16 as example:
Steps:
-----------
Start a local/LAN multiplayer server, spawn as USMC on Wood Yard.
Take and fly the chopper to Hill Village
Hoover chopper at between 70 to 100m attitude
Look back at the garage that hosts the tank and APC.
On my system I can see the tank, but I cannot see the APC. Similar stuff happens to other objects in Wood Yard at vary distances (e.g. the Humvee).
If I fly slowly back toward Wood Yard, at about 150m away from Wood Yard Flag I can see the APC again. However that really hampers me as a n00b gunner. Chopper pilot always yell at me, "you can't see the AA/Tank/chopper/whatever?"
My system spec:
CPU: AMD64 3200+
GPU: 7800GT, tried with Nvidia ForceWare driver 93.71, 93.81, 94.20
RAM: 2GB
Motherboard: Asus A8N-E
Space left on C: 8GB
BF2 installed on default path
Punkbuster updated manually already as we speak
My BF2 in game video setting:
Sorry I forgot to mention my BF2 video setting.
Geometory HIGH
Texture HIGH
Effect HIGH
Terrain HIGH
Lighting Quality Low
Dynamic Lighting Low
Dynamic Shadow OFF
Texture Filter Quality Medium
Antialiasing 2x
View Distance 100%
For the "missing" APC, it doesn't matter if it's near the crosshair or not. If it's far enough it will just vapourized, while the tank that's right next to APC still shows up no problem..
Any of you experienced similar problem? Any possible solutions? Thank you.
