how is this guy going around pb ban?

unless he had appealed it, but i don't see how it can be that fast....or how he could have proven his innocence (he's not)

How is he getting around it, that is easy. For starters a Punksbusted ban has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with a Punkbuster ban, so all he is doing is playing on servers that don't run the PsB ban list.

Guess that means his hacks/cheats aren't altering Punkbuster. Or did you really think that PB has someone that just sits and checks screen shots all day?

Out of all the time the hackers spent creating software that PB could not detect it would be nieve to think that they dont have anyway to be able to get around a PB or PBS Bsn.

i didn't know pbusted and pb are separate

anyway, i was under the impression a cheating ban is a serverwide ban, whether it was detected by pb dir check or by ss

and that a ban is locked on the accounts under the same cdkey as well as hardware ban on the NIC or HD identity

i guess i'll just have to keep an eye out for him on our server

Punkbuster has 2 types of Bans

• GUID Ban - Evading PB
• Hardware Ban - Hacking PB

The SS tool of PB is just a tool for Server Admins and since it can easily be forged PB will not ban people on that evidence alone. PBusted is a team of server admins who use the PB Screenshots as evidence (though I believe they do checks to make sure ScreenShots are valid, some Md5?) to ban suspected cheaters from their group of servers. The next best thing to a Global Ban

But as an admin you can ban specific GUID's from the server based off of the Screenshot, but you cannot ask PB to give them a global ban.

wierd i do think he cheated, he must of padded with the transport, to get kills. maybe?
