Easy way to get points?

Is there a easy way to get alot of points, (besides padding) EW!

I mean i need a good 7000, points before i hit First sergeant and i want it bad, maybe i dont play the game enough but sh!t i just want them too bad, any advice or tactics to earning madd points?

2. Heal people = 1
3. Revive people = 2
4. Resupply = 1
5. Repair assets = 1
6. Neutralize flag = 1
7. Take flag = 3
etc etc

neutralize a flag = 2
take a flag = 2
netralize assist point = 1
capture assist point = 1
kill assist = 1


if u care that much about points....

1. be a gunner in an attack heli...
2. be a medic and revive/heal everyone plus getting kills and capping flags...
3. be an armor whore...as engineer, sit in a tank next to another engineer in a tank, repair eachother while u rack up kills and cap flags
4. be support and spam ammo packs everywhere and spam grenades all round
5. be commander, if u win chances are u get more points than anyone on that server

my suggestion is to forget points and have fun....the points come on their own

if you REALLY want points you could try stat padding or K/P servers if you are very desperate and dont care about the risks even though it is illegal and you could be reset. Or try being medic on IO servers. If not the best way to get better is to play more.

7 Steps to Leetness

1. Install basic communication programs such as mIRC, Teamspeak, Ventrilo and Xfire (hopefully later today playxpert which will overrun xfire). Also download BF2 Pro 1.5 from CAL or TWL.

2. Give up unlocks, completely. Learn all of the stock weapons. Start by looking up hitbox videos and studying them. Then look up PB screen shots of where the targeting reticles actually are on your weapons as opposed to the ironsite which is dead wrong for the most part.

3. Learn from them and everyone you meet.

3. Learn how to do everything. Fly, gun, tank, drive, shoot the works all from the best people in your clan.

4. Scrimm constantly. If your clan isn't scrimming go play in a BF2Pro Pub server or ring for another clan that is. Do this for two weeks straight.

5. Fine tune your game. Turn down your settings to see white buildings and as far as possible. Less realism = more pwnage. Set up proper settingsmanager.con configurations. Buy gaming equiptment such as I have. RAZER Tarantula or Logitech G15, RAZER Copperhead, RAZER Exactmat X, any surround sound headphones or speakers, get a widescreen and definately get a Xfi Fatal1ty and jack that audio up to ultra highseries sound card. From if your video card can handle it set a custom resolution via the target line in BF2 properties.

6. Scrimm some more after this tune up and take a break.

7. Now go into a pub. As long as the vast majority of people in the server didn't follow the previous steps one through six you should be at the top of the list every time. Rank won't mean anything to you for you are now their Master. The only disadvantage (if there really is one) is that you will blow goats with unlocks now. Stock weapons will feel 10x than any unlock every did and headshots will come constantly.

The sad thing is by this point in time you won't care about how many points you get per round. You will know your good and that's all that matters, but that won't stop you from climbing to the number one spot in every vanilla pub server ranking up far faster than you ever would have otherwise.

If anyone thinks I am wrong who has not done at least some of the previous steps by all means meet me in any pub server or hit me up xfire, saggins.

had the same problem last year when i got out of the Military started playing this again and it took me 6 months to make sergeant lol because of work and deployments and wife and kid. I have alittle more time i get about 2 hours a day sometimes alittle less but if you worry about points to much it kinda ruins the game, trust me i was like you i wanted rank because i hated being beat out of commander or what not. But if you play a few games and just kill tons supprisingly you will get more points then hitting tab every 10 seconds. I did that and had like 300 points in 2 hours, (i got to be a commander one time lol ).

I find that being support and tossing ammo on anyone who is shooting racks up points better than medic.

Then again, maybe i suck at being medic

Lost and frustrated, playing selfishly and not doing much in the process.

What spell has EA cast on you. I'm really curious the motivation behind ranking up when you don't have much time to play. If you don't have much time to play and it retards your rank progress then so be it. There's no shame in it. In fact no one cares.

It's a goofy symbol in front of your name that changes when you get a certain amount of points.

Is it some sort of status thing? Do you feel people are looking down at you because of your rank now?

Simply i just wish ppl had more respect for me online, i just always get picked on and it is not an escape from reality anymore (like video games use to be) now i just get high and play this game and its just as good, but like ppl always diss me and call me a noob online and it pushes the wrong button. I just got out of juvie for breaking a cops nose, (among the other 11 charges) i just cant do d!ck sh!t about it cous the closest thing to a fight i get is calling him a NOOB back, and it seems so childish. Can't we all toke and do our own thing and play in a stellar online community of BF2 PWNage, does that seem a bit far out to some of you bloats!
