How to get gold?

How do I get gold for some medals? On some I have all the hours requierd but still stuck on Silver, do I need to get a certn ammount of kills to get gold? If so, I hav done so so many times and still no gold?

What's the secret?

Like if you look at my stats, in the awrads section, Badges - some are gold and some silver, why are some of them still silver?

EDIT, sorry I mean EXPERT not gold/silver... Basic Expert etc...

becaue for some badges you have not met the requirements got expert badges, but you met the ones for silver.

You need to get a certain amount of kills in a round to acheive expert, for example for expert sniper you need to get 35 kills in one round and for expert first aid you need to get 25 heals in a round etc.

You need to meet global req.s first (i.e. 500 kills with a pistol), and then the in a round (IAR) requirement (i.e. 18 kills with a pistol).

Sometimes you need to kill 41 IAR to get the expert.. Thats my experience.

How do I get gold for some medals?

Go to Winterspring and farm the giant Elites. Sell the white junk to the vendors for easy cash, and perhaps some green, blue and purple items may drop that you can sell on the Auction House for inflated gold prices.

I think BF2Player is easier to look at in regards to what medals / badges your eligible for. just scroll to the bottom and any awards highlighted in blue you are currently eligible for. you just need to fulfill the in-round requirement.

Thanks signa, but I still don't get it lol, I have the time, and I'm pretty sure I got the killsfor some of the kits (eg. 5 kills as Spec Ops, 30 kills as Spec Ops etc.) but still no awards, hmm

you have to have the time in first. then when your stats page shows you have the time (ie: 100hrs for some kits), then you can try and get the # of kills required in 1 round.

It's not hard to understand.. here.

Ok, you have vet. support right? Right.. you want expert.

So, to get expert, AS OF NOW, load into a server, and get 40 kills, IN THAT ROUND.. 40 kills, with ONLY THE SUPPORT KIT.

That also means you can have the support kit and get into a jet or something to get the kill requirement fast.
