Online Gaming Ban Community

What we need is an online gaming ban community or a company that BANS people through out the entire multiplayer online gaming community.

People who use cheats, will cheat in every online game such as BF2,Counter Strike and etc. So long there is a trainer,hack,aimbot,color cheats, see-thru wall cheats.

What the game companies need to do is come up with a solution. When you register your account you agree to MAC ADDRESS( computers address) approval before you play any Multiplayer / online gaming.If you get banned for cheating using a hack (caught by punkbuster/screenshot) every online multiplayer game you have is NO GOOD because you have been caught cheating on just one of them. I really like to see the faces of these people who cheat, if EA or some other person would get the ball rolling on this idea on a ONLINE GAMING CENTRAL COMMUNITY/ BUSINESS
This would prevent alot of the cheating that goes on today.Lets hope this idea becomes true in the near future.

I'd like to see confirmed cheats being branded, say if your cd key was matched to your name and could not be changed. When you joined a server it should have 'CHEAT' in red beside your name and then people could chose to kick you off. I think the stigma attatched to being a cheat would be worse than being caught once and starting another account. Might make them think twice about it.

Hardware bans

As of June 30, 2004, Even Balance has incorporated the usage of unique hardware identifiers to permanently ban players from all PunkBuster enabled servers who raise a violation that corresponds to hacking or interfering with PunkBuster's normal operation and therefore violating the EULA.

As with previous PunkBuster GUID global bans, the new hardware GUID bans are permanent and will not be lifted. Even Balance has not disclosed which hardware parts are used to ban players, but trial and error has shown that the hardware GUID is based on the serial numbers of all available hard drives and the MAC addresses

Though I hate cheaters with a passion, this goes too far. Banning them from the game the offense was committed is good enough. Don't start going all computer snoopy now.

I see the OPs point, however, your idea just makes you look stupid together with thousands who have had the same idea. And besides PB already has HW ban.

I'd rather see more action against the cheat industry, because obviously some people are making money out of them. As long as it's free it's ok, but when money gets involved everyone should be interested in way or another.

And people seem to be BF2 players alone, dumb, selfish, ignorant BF2 players who have no idea about any other game but BF2 on their widescreens. You see, cheating is a part of online gaming. You play CS and ask a player you have seen around a while "you have WH today?" "no not tonight m8, maybe later". Yea, there are cheaters, and cheaters are. Who are the cheater? Nobody knows and at least I don't care. Cheater or not? Where's the difference? He fights good and it's ok for me. I have fun - he has fun watching me have fun through walls. I have fun after I find out he was cheating.

You see, PB is good, there has to be some balance or everyone would be cheating and that wouldn't be fun for anyone. What I'm concerned the most are the ones who sell hacks. These idiots are ruining the reputation of hackers. You know, when I see one I ask if he did that by himself and if it's exceptionally good I'll let him know before kicking. More and more people are paying for hacks and that's what bugs me, because most likely these people are the most pathetic type, they don't play much, they're grown-up people who give themselves an excuse to get hacks because someone else hacks. And they suck no matter how you measure it. They don't even try. I don't know if they have fun but I doubt not.

It's impossible, well near impossible to ban cheats or cheaters for that matter. If you think PB works, think again. I know that if I get PB banned, there is sweet f*ck all they can do to stop me coming back, all it entails is a £20 charge. Frankly, if WoW players can pay that price monthly, what makes you think a cheater won't? The only thing that really stops me and well, everyone else, from cheating is morals.

The best thing to do would be to go after the cheat makers.

ok personaly i think that that is an ok idea but what about the people who stop hacking or cheating of any sort, then the person that stopped and he wont use them anymore now he is banned from every game. the company's will lose a lot of money because of the amount of cheaters in the game.
