Mouse curser missing after installing 1.41 patch (in game only)

Hello, when i played the game before i installed the patch it was fine and online too but when i installed the 1.41 patch (installation had no errors) the curser had seemed to disapear in game. I could sign in by pressing enter or return keys but could not control anything else, having to press ctrl alt delete to get back to the desktop my mouse curser had returned.
I reinstalled the game and patch and same thing happens
Currently i play the game online without the patch until i find an answer.

Computer information - Graphicss card= ATi Radeon Series 9600 Pro (128mb)
RAM = 1GB
Processor = 2.2gb (amd)
Hard drive space = plenty

Your graphics card is crappin out on ya.....you need to upgrade that

yea. this is a random guess, but....maybe your graphics card cant display your cursor? ...maybe?

the box set says it supports 9500+ and it works fine without the patch evidentally, they wouldn't change the specs for the patch would they?

as in upgrade you mean hardware or drivers?

have you gone into options and chosen to set all your controls at "default level"?
