Going to desktop

can any1 tell me why my bf2 goes straight to desktop, when trying to load a local map?
I've taken off the stuff ive put in with my bf2 (Custom Map and Modified Localisation Files) yet it still goes to desktop, can any1 help me with this its really anoying

Post your system Specs. Are you trying to play a map that you made?

Yeah i've just got bfeditor, and i made a test map, as soon as i press the join button it goes to desktop. The lan games used to work but dont now

this mite not be realted at all, but when i played the 21st century warfare mod and loaded one of the custom maps, it would crash all the time because i needed the terrain settings to be at least medium
, and seeing ur x200, i think u have all settings set to low. but thats just my theory
