heh, if you want to command, dont go to a 'Moongamers' server, I was kicked for 'command whoring' for commanding 2 rounds in a row lol. Apparently you cant do that there, I didnt even get a warning.

I hate that server, they kick for stupid sh!t like that all the time

I raped a server one night while in my trusty armor, next round I see the tank at the uncap for like 5-10 minutes so I spawn there next time and grab the tank then proceed to rape the sh!t out of the other team and all of a sudden I get kicked for armor whoring........hellllllooo no I wasnt, I could see if I never let anyone in the tank or tk for it, but ffs it was just sitting there

lol the server switched my team half way through a game and i got kicked for excessive team killing! i meen wtf they were my enemy wen i killed them!

LOL!!! I would not be surprised people want more points for killing a Commander, but on most servers that is way too easy. Most servers wont even let the commander in a vehicle or allow him to fight,so the command is a sitting duck....Ive been knifed so many times as a commander, artilleried, vehicles and crates dropped on or near me, my own team wont protect me cause they are too busy worrying about their precious points, and there is never a medic around the commander so you can forget extra revive points.

Lets all just play the game as is and get our 2 points per kil...lol

TBH, I don't follow that rule that says a commander must sit in a corner and just have the command screen up. I can handle everything going on around me well enough to multitask. I go with a kit like Assault so if I ever do get caught by myself, in some of the behind-the-lines flags, I can handle a squad of 3 people fairly well...if I get the drop on them first, because I am not in the stupid commander screen.

Having a Mic & having SLs with Mics does wonders while being a commander.

actually, I think you can

when you do a scan and you see that 1 red dot that isnt moving all round then your pretty sure its the enemy commander, but if you "spot" that red dot.... and it turns white, then you are sure its the enemy commander

I may be wrong, but I noticed many many times when I was commander and I spotted someone, there is a white dot instead of red when its the enemy commander

Yes, but keep in mind that the dot is only white for the commander doing the spotting--on everyone else's mini-map, it will just be a normal red dot. So it's then up to the spotting commander to communicate this intel (via VOIP to the SL's, text, or whatever) to the rest of the team. :)

I know that the thicker dots are normally Squad Leaders.

I don't know why you are being sarcastic. There was a big argument about this--oh, I don't know, last summer?--when people were claiming that anyone could spot the enemy commander.

Damn, maybe I need to take a screen shot if I ever play Commander (which I rarely do). You will notice sometimes, there are several heavy dots on the screen. I am very, very sure that the are SLs because when I have been commander behind the lines, and had to go into action because of a flanking squad showed up that I saw through a scan, there would often be a thick dot with the other enemy people, so I always figured it was a SL.
