Alright I'm going to be ranking up to First Sargeant on this account here pretty quick.

I only have the spec-op and AT weapons to unlock, I've unlocked the Dao on my other account and thought it was crap, is the P90 any better than the ****ty stock smgs? I want to unlock the scar-L cause it's prolly my favorite weapon, but the AT weapons just suck so badly if the P90 is any better I'd rather get that and save spec-ops for last.


So is the P90 any better than the stocks?

Yes it's better than all of the stock weapons. I personally like the DAO over the P90, but mabye it's because I have adapted to it's strengths. I don't think the SCAR-L is really a better gun than the G36C, so go for the P90.

P90 definitely. if youve already got the 36C youre good to go on spec ops unless you want the SCAR. the P90 makes the AT a kit really worth playing.

P90 seems (to me) like one of the best Sub Machine Guns in the game. It has the rate of fire. Boy! does it ever. I think it owns in close combat, but yeah the SCAR-L takes alot of practice to master, its recoil is xcore and it is simply not worth the unlock, definately unlock the P90, unless you HAVE to have the SCAR-L logically the P90 will server you well in the long run. Kay?

yeah id go for the P90. IMO, g36C is alot more accurate and effective than the scar-L, and the p90 does has its 900rounds per minute...and i dont have it unlocked, but my brother loves it and ive seen him own in cqc

I still think the DAO is better for cqc. The p90 is better than the other SMG's, but its not all that good over range, so chose your gameplay style. But, as the others have said, the Scar is hard to use.

I find i use th p90 more than the Scar-l.

I'm still a shotgun whore at heart, and the DAO can drop an entire squad in short order, but as far as subs go, the P90 rules the day.

P90 sucks... but the Scar-L is useless... You have the G36E!!!!!!

I really don't have any say in this because I don't like the AT weapons, and I only use G36E for Spec Ops.

P90 is slightly better than other stock smgs in most respects.

It has a bit better modifiers for all stances making it a bit more accurate, and holds 50 rounds (as opposed to 30/30/45 for MP5/Type-something/PP-19). However, it has longer delay to use and reload time.

SMGs in general are a lot better than what people think, fire rate of 900 rpm gives them comparable damage/second to assault rifles, and they are actually more accurate when fired on the move. Also, they behave better on full auto - deviation from multiple shots reduces 3x faster than with assault rifles. This makes them pretty damn good in close combat.
