To bad I dont know the date but do know its going to be around 700 mb big!
Anyway are you going to play this next to BF2...or switch over?

It looks pretty cool, but once you play Project Reality, you never go back.
I'll stick with PR, but Decon looks pretty sick too.

I couldn't get into PR, or PoE2... I really think DCon will be awesome. I hope it adds some vitality to the game.

I'll probably play both vanilla and DCon.

I will be playing DCon. It will make the game feel like what BF2 was really supposed to be. I'm not a fan of the automated Artillery, and using the stingers is going to fun as all hell. That, and hopefully the air combat will live up.

My roommate was real big in to DC, was on a 2nd place team, and I was able to play it on his computer a little while back. Very fun game. Looking forward to DCon.

Oh yeah...full auto M16...the way it's supposed to be.

That lost village pic reminds me of a CoD2 map, Tunisia or something, hope its not gonna be a bunny hopping IO free for all like it is in CoD2
That map in IO from is just perfect for aimbotters.

I don't think there will be IO in DCon (thank god). Lostvillage will have two Blackhawks with side gunners to pickoff enemey infantry. But don't fly too low, or you will be shot down

they got f-117s? im there. I didnt really like PR either, its just the views, the coldness of the game, its so real, TOO real. I find im the only one hopping around in that game, and im not patient enough to stick with my squad all the time. Maybe its from lack of experience. The views annoy me because i like the 4 views bf2 has for their vehicles. I feel claustrophobic in PR. and 30 seconds to spawn, i die a lot. The game promotes teamwork incredibly though, and i can see how people love it.

I liked PR until they made the spawn times like 1min. If it wasnt for that id play. Dcon looks cool though.

No doubt. There are many BF2 mods that have yet to be released than I am sure to download, like Forgotten Hope 2, Brickfield, etc...and of course Desert Conflict. Kind of reminds of Desert Combat for Battlefield 1942.

Yeah I loved to play lostvillage back in those DC days
Also el alamein map..played that map in all kind of mods and vannila `42
FH, DCextended, battlefield vietnam and more
and now waiting to play desert conflict version

keep in mind, these guys have spent MOST of their time CODING. That's not to say they don't have new content in the 1st release, believe me they have plenty to keep us happy and many more to come on the 2nd release. Most of the new content for the 2nd release (maps, vehicles etc..) are still in WIP.
