somebody help me out here.. with a ban, does it just ban your account name or your cd key?. Might make these dickheads think about cheating if they had to buy the game again and a real kick in the balls would be if servers banned your HDD and windows s/n.

AFAIK PB bans are by GUID, not account name so yes, getting banned on one account bans them all, including any future accounts.
