    Veteran Armor Badge

Anyone else think that the requirement for the Veteran Armor badge is pretty rediculous? Maybe its just me, but 100 hours in an armor vehicle is a LOOOOONG time. I dont even have half that much yet, and I already have almost all the other veteran badges (some gold too).

Haha, i know. I am not even IMAGINING myself getting expert, I just wanted at least everything silver, but I never use armor that long. Im a pilot and I dont even have 100 hours in a jet or heli!

I should have veteran armor in the next few weeks.

FOR SURE, I will never get veteran airplane.

Yeah that really is a long time. Play long wake island servers, with only 8 players or less on each side. This will really get you points and those hours.

The point of it is that it's a veteran badge which is more than basic. The expert is that... an expert.

They lowered the helo and jet vet. reqs from 100 to 50hrs for some reason.

The only thing you "need" Vet. armor for is Brigader Gen. I would hope that by the time one reacher 1080 hours playing BF2 that he/she has spent 100 of those in armor.

i think basing any of the badges on time is stupid. imo spending 100 hours in a vehicle/kit/whatever doesnt necessarily make you good at it

Ive had veteran armour for ages but 100hrs isnt that bad for time served in a tank! Cmon guys its a tank, the best vehicle on the battlefield! IMO (:0)

I am getting expert aviator in a few weeks... Not that hard, just get on a 20player 64p Oman server for a few rounds a couple of times a day.

I think the point of the stats was to track your progress over the long term. Not to become stat whore collectors and try to get every award in the first 6 months of playing. Not accusing anyone of being that, but so many people whined about the requirements that they lowered them all and now anybody and everybody can get all the awards.

I camp in an APC when i'm playing as commander. Hours add up, you're somewhat protected (when under building cover, or on non-air maps), and you can auto-repair assets by driving up to them.

Forgot to mention the obvious. Play as Engineer for the auto-repair capability eh.
