[QUOTE=...winodws xp never used that much memory on my comptuer vista using 910mb [/QUOTE]

Well if you had the RAM, bf2.exe would use that much in XP!
I am using XP pro and use between 660MB and 980MB of RAM....this is why I have 2GB!!

VISTA also wants a minimum of 1GB to run at its best, so there is your problem!!! VISTA is a memory hog!!! So if you only have 1GB then VISTA and BF2 are going to be playing tug of war for your RAM!!! (Not Good for Game Play)

Advise getting another Gig of RAM!!! so you 2GB in total!!

    Good Luck!

800MB here. Disable all the movies.

It's not a problem, vista is doing exactly what it's supposed to.
