Do i have to buy 2142 crap to get the awesome first strike mod?

Im not signing up to total 2141&1/2 i hate that game but first strike mod i want.I asume they are using the 2142 engine but isnt it just bf2 engine?

any starwars or trek heads know about this mod ?

It's a mod of BF2142, so you need that game to play the mod.

yeah im guessing it uses some textures or buildings from 2142 for northern strike which bf2 wont have

i had no idea about this mod until i came 2 this thread 45 sec ago, i google first strike mod and when i saw star wars...i HAVE to buy the game.

star wars = best sci fi off all time.

This mod would be the only reason for me to buy BF 2142. I have always thought it would be cool to play BF in a Star Wars setting. My friend played Battlefront, but it's was pretty lame. Hopefully, the game will be about $20 by the time the mod is done.

first strike team was "galatic conquest" mod team before bf2 on 1942 and it had some good starwars maps
