So, today I was an USMC Medic in Karkand. My ammo was depleted so I switched to an L85A1. I then died and was revived. It was no surprise that I had an M16 in my hand when I was alive again, but the A in the lower right corner made me wonder. I fired, and I indeed had an M16 with full auto fire. I even got this recorded with Fraps. Has this happened to anyone else? It's the first time for me.

Could be that you really had the L85A1 but your screen was showing the M16, I had something like this happen to me befor. -

Nope. I gave the kit to my friend also, and made another video with Fraps. It was definately the M16. Also, the sound was that of the M16. He also confirmed that I was holding an M16 and I was shooting full auto, when he was standing right next to me.Originally posted by -Dan-Comment

Sorry. I believe you were right. My friend just found a youtube video with someone experiencing the same thing. I did not notice this, but when I killed with the full auto M16, it still said I killed with the L85A1. Anyway, made for a funny videoOriginally posted by -Dan-Then I have no idea..

It is an M16 with a clip full of L85A1 bullets firing M16 style. It has the shot damage and ROF of an L85A1 but the deviation and recoil of an M16. This is really deadly when it happens with Ak-101 bullets and ROF and a G36E deviation and recoil. There are ways to cross breed your guns through glitching, but it seems like yours was just an accidental bug....
