How soloing started....

For all you guys that just love or hate soloing: post your thanks are curses here.

I was soloing before it was cool. I don't mean this whirly bird attack chopper crap you whipper snappers do now a'days.

I started soloing in the Blackhawk very much a long time ago, well before the attack choppers were the sought after tool that they are today. The time when the BH ruled the sky. I would set the BH up around the outside of a base, switch to left gunner seat and blow away.

Interesting history.

I only started soloing after watching people like Trepid and Redux do it, or... to put it another way, when I realized it was possible to switch from pilot to gunner in mid-air: it's usually easier to test that stuff out when you're alone, of course. Do you have any idea how incredibly lighter my shoulders felt? No more dealing with retarded pilots or gunners. Good times. :)

Waaaaay back in Nov 05. I saw a video posted here by someone, it had no sound and when I saw it I just had to try it. Found DV being played on rotation and went 35-7. Been doing it ever since.

Screw chopper soloing.
Bomber soloing is where it's at.
