Its so hard to find a server that plays vechicle maps. I only see servers that are IO or 24/7 Karkland or city maps. What happened to Daquing, Dalian, Zatar, Oman, Kubra etc. I like infantry combat as much as everyone else but it get s0 boring. I dont know how people can play Karkland over and over again(especially without vechicles). What a shame this game has become cs! I find it more enjoyable when i'm a foot soldier and I see a tank and hide from it, or when a plane nearly strafes me to death, or seeing a heli take out a column of tanks and men.

Yeah I know what you mean. But people are so eager to get points, badges, etc.. thats why you see people playing on karkand 24/7. Thats how lord of weed became number #1. I have just recently experienced the feeling to get to new maps and try maps i haven't before. I've been playing kubra dam, operation clean sweep and FuShe pass. Which are all amazing maps, and were very well done. And of course I also have to go to the 24/7 maps so i can get the points i need to keep or rise in rank. I would like to see one week dedicated to vehicle maps, no IO maps all week. I think it would get people back on those maps and off IOs. It would start a new view of BF2. -

First people were bashing vechicle maps cause they said planes were cheap. Now aa missiles are fixed (try for ur self) and people still don't play on them. People say players who fly planes getting 70+ scores is stat padding but no one talks of the medics and supports on karkland with 100 + scores. i think it invovles more skill to bomb a tank with a plane or tv guide someone rather than throw medic bags everywhere. It just that ppl who suck with planes, helis and tanks; dont practice them and stay with their boring infantry combat.
I just checked lord of weed stats the only vechicle he can use its a tank.

Karkland hours: 3068
The maps he plays second isn't even over 36 hours

you should, bf2 is more fun with a plane or heli, you might suck with it at first but then you will become a pro. The german guy below lord of weed should be number one he's played all the maps evenly and has all the medals including air and heli medals.Originally posted by gamekinbgComment

Yes the majority of the maps are IO, Karkand or Wake, but there are still enough servers that have vehicles. It may take a little bit longer to look, but they are there. Try SF, it's about 60%IO and 40% vehicles most times when I look for servers.Comment

yea i recommend u buy sf, its awesome. There are hardly people waiting for helos in that one, and the rockets are more powerful, but the chain gun is weaker.
there are other maps, you just have to look harder and use the filters (not the ones at the bottom, but at the top over the server names).Comment

We still play all maps. We do have a ground pound sunday though that might change to IO for that day only, currently its still vehicles but every other day of the week we play all maps.
I can't understand how someone can play 1 map only for hundreds if not thousands of hours. Then you see these same players wanting more maps yet they only play 1 map anyway, oh the irony of BF2.Comment
