its not a glitch, its your graphics card overheating or dieing

Whats your CPU and more importantly GPU core temps.? If they are high either move your cables around so there is a better air flow/get more fans or get a betterheatsink.

Be careful playing with those settings online, if you have PB SS taken of you, you might accidently get done for it.

Post this sort of thing in the BF2 Support Forum next time.

okay tried 10 mins with that, its impossible to aim cause of the huge pixels that are suppose to be the dynamic light frmo my gun so just restarted BF2 and viola! fixed.

That is called artifacting, meaning your gfx card is overheating, or could be crap drivers, trying installing some diff ones. PS what are your system specs?

8800 GTS
Intel Core Duo E6400
500W PSU
250BG SATA II HDD
1 CPU fan, one fan for the 8800 and 3 case fans and its not overheating at all, it was just a rare glitch.

You need a new GPU...

I had similar problems when I bought my 6600... the capacitors on the card weren't connected correctly or something like that. Send it back for a manufacturer replacement.

When did you get that card? Who made it?

It doesn't have to over-heat (although similar things happen when it does overheat).

When the RAM died on my card I got similar pictures, especially with the fire.

some of those textures look better than the original...like most doors/windows have those nice white expensive lookin blinds...

its not necessarily a bad video card, but its just severly underpowered

a friend of mine tried running BF2 with a real low buck vid card, I think it was an Nvidia 3200 or something like that, he didnt think he would have any trouble because he had over a gig of ram but thats exactly what his screen looked like

now in your case Tyler, if you had already played BF2 successfully in the past and havnt changed anything in your PC then you vid card is definetly hosed and time to cough up some bucks to get a new one, or you can do what I do....if 1 component of my PC goes bad, I build a whole new one thats better LOL
