punkbuster problem with vista

can anyone help me?
I got my windows vista 32 bit and installed battlefield 2 and punkbuster. but everytime i join a server i always get kicked for punkbuster:hmm: I have it turned for god sake. This happens with battlefield 2142 as well!!!!!. Anyone knows what is the problem?

update your punkbuster. There is an updating tool on the punkbuster website. I run on vista and it works just fine...

right click on your bf2.exe and set it to run as administrator. (at least that is what I have heard).

I had the same problem

BTW Vista runs fine with BF2.

All you have to do is:

Start --> Control Panel --> Security Center --> Turn off User Account Control

No you don't, besides disabling the uac is completely stupid because then it's just like a shiny xp.

All you need to do is right click on the bf2 (and 2142) .exe and select this:



Thats it.

Im running Vista 64 Home Premium , no issues at all now , run as admin you will be fine .
