I read on these forums it's illegal to sell your BF2 account on eBay. OK, but what about the game itself? I play 2142 now so I'm ready to sell my old favorite, BF2. If I sell it on eBay, can someone else create a new account with it even though it was previously used by my account? (Note: Only one person would be using the software. I've uninstalled the game from my system). Thanks for any advice.

No need, your account is not bound to your keyOriginally posted by [AH1z]Predragcant you delete your existing account first??
It should be fine to sell it, though I know it seems to be frowned upon.Comment

Well, someone lost a CD, scratched it, or got their CD banned by punk buster.Originally posted by DesertFalconwhats the use in buying one anyway??????
I know that it is OK to some degree...at least for console game. I heard Sony was trying to develope a technology with RFIDs to stop people from being able to sell or lend games to other people.Comment

You won't get much for a used copy of a game that's pushing 2 years old. No offense. It can be bought new for $40 at standard Walmart, and probably even better prices at online retailers. At most, you would get $15 or $20. I would just keep it in my collection. Who knows when the erge to play BF2 will rise?

Re: Is it Legal to Sell Game on EBay?
Can someone enlighten me on how this works? If you have bought a copy of bf2 and used its cd key to play online, then how can someone else buy that same copy off you and use the same cd key again? wouldn't you get the 'cd key already in use' message, making gameplay impossible? I only say that because I bought SF second hand and it happened to me, so I then had to buy a new retail version.Comment
