i searched the forum but couldnt find anything maybe i overlooked but, i am trying to get the Ground defense ribbon, i just got the badge but i needed one more kill to get it and never got it, do u have to use the stationary GD to get it, because some people told me any mounted gun on the ground or Hummer would do the same, is that true or not, because other wise it will take me forver to get it that way lol i get nailed when i try the stationary defense.

plus if i want my aircraft ribbon do i have to be the pilot to get the kills and time or do can i be a co pilot and still get that ribbon, same for tank

Hummer is transport.

It has to be a mounted machine gun for ground defense.

For the aircraft and tank question... you can do either. But you need to meet the kill requirements which means you need to kill people. If the driver kills people, you get Driver Kill Assists.

killing people with the hummers 50 cal does not couldt as GD AFAIK.

In addition to stationary machine guns, the stationary TOW emplacements count as ground defense. On the aviator question, the game considers you an aviator if you are in the gunner position using the laser guided missles. For the mounted machine gun on a tank, I'm not sure if kills using it count towards the Armored Service Ribbon or not. I did get the Crew Service Ribbon riding the turret of a tank.
