Would you contribute to a Tbf2 server

As you may know there has been growing support in the tbf2 community for us to have our own server. some people have said that they would be willing to pitch in but we would need at least 64$ for a 32 man server. Idd also like to get the sites staff views on this.


I know this should be in community polls since there is a poll atached but that area is about dead and I would not get that much response there.

Why doesn't MYis donate one? It would serve in their best interest. They could scroll messages advertising their websites and so on. As for me donating, I don't know, depends on who the admins would be. I've grown so weary of abusive admins in the last 2 months, that donating to a server I'm not an admin for is an iffy scenario for me.

O and BTW, if there's to be an uncap rule, then hell no.

WE are using his for the event coming up this saturday but it is not fair to N2K to have to pay for a server for all of us and get nothing in return.

I'm guessing those that donate/pay for the server would have admin access as well.

i like the idea, but i just hate having to pay for a game i've already purchased.. i doubt you'll get much support, but we could probably do something with n2k's server if he allows it.

If you donate enough i suppose we cant have too many admins though. And its not right that we ask Tbf2 for a server if none of us here are willing to pay for it.

Just join the total clan (if it's still around) and use their server, they would probably like the extra people hanging around.

Yeah, I can put several dollars a month through an auto-pay paypal account. Putting up $8-12 bucks a month is small potatos, hell I can't even get in the door to a club for that much sometimes...let alone buy a single martini.

Now, I am not going to front all the money, but I will put up +10 a month if a few other do also.

I would love to be an admin too, I am so laid back about a lot of BS I see, it would really take a clown for me to do something. But, I am sure I would piss everyone off because I would want to turn FF on for claymores and AT mines...while having a message scrolling saying be careful to spot red skulls, and don't put your bombs in dumb places! :box:

I would observe some ROE rules but I would not be very strict.

I believe the cost is 2$ a slot for ranked servers at least that is what it is from see me play me. I will start up a poll on and see how many people would contribute to a Tbf2 server. I dont have a paypal account or a job (under 16) so i cant really help with money since i dont have paypal.

If we could have someone who has a pay pal account who is willing to buy the server give out their info or something so that we could start taking contributions we may have a server by nthe end of the weekend



N2k I got a report from Ace fin that the chicago server is acctualy more laggy for him averaging a ping around 185

Actually, I think we should go with N2k's offer for now. And get the TBF2 server online soon after this weekend. Idea being, we need to work out the bugs, logistics and donation scheme to get it up and going.

I am going to double post this in the poll thread.

I would definetely donate at least $10. We could discuss it further though once things are ironed out.

I think if you put forward 20% of the cost you should be and admin which for a 32 man is about 12-13$.

ok with Xfire and ailask both donating 10$ thats 20$ right there only another 44$ needed

Another thing I need to ask, is MyIS going to let us just use their name? Even though we are all community members, and if it gets off the ground, will they mind us using TBF2 Server as a title? I mean, ATM we are not sanctioned by them.

My only question is can you pay without using a credit card?

If not i can work something out with my uncles paypal account.
I could pay around 20 bucks or hell,even more then 20 a month.
