    ok this is really annoying!

    hey guys!
    ive got a big problem!
ive had bf2 since may 06
this has happened since the start but its pissin me off now
Note i have Window XP not vista

my (my dads) computer has 4 usernames
bf2 works on every username excluding mine
(well meh it has CD key problems on the other 2)
the only 1 it works on proberly is mt dads
(his username is password protected) (so's mine :p)
i bug him at the weekends to "log me on"

this pisses my dad off sooooooo much
is there any way to make it work on mine??????
ive asked this on bf2s and no joy

Note on bf2s thye gave me things like "reinstall on your username" that dosent work since you need admin privilges to uninstall
my dad wont give me the stuff needed  #
    thx

Ask your dad to log you on and then go to the User sections of the Control Panel and promote your account to Administrator :P

When your dad installed BF2, did he make it fully available to "everyone who uses this computer"?

lol, ask him, he probably can't remember.
i suggest a re-install, making sure that full control is available for everyone.:)

We have made it easy in my house. I have Bf2 on my PC and my son has Bf2 on his PC....this way we can play on the same servers/squad!! There is no fighting on who gets to play, no user issues, no nagging!!! ITS A WIN/WIN SITUATION!!!!

Ask him for your own computer and your own copy of BF2....makes life more fun for everybody!! Tell him you would like to game with him too!!! Father / Son time!!!

PS...be nice when you ask him!!!

Ask your dad if he'll lend you some money to build your own. Or save some money over a few years, I saved about £500 in about 3 years to build my PC. Yes, I am fairly poor

Just copy all the BF2 files from Program files to Shared Documents, or your documents and play from there :p

You have to do a few things to get it to work, mostly changing the installpath key in the registry.

I know loads of ways to snag or temporarily reset the administrator password, but meh, not telling you.
