BF2 puts other programs to sleep.

whenever i play bf2, and minimize/close it, everything goes extremely slow for like 30 seconds. its like everything else is put into hibernate while im playing, and i dont like it.

i usually listen to music when im playing, so when i go back to WMP it loads like crazy, my computer makes all these grunting noises, and it takes like half a minute to process the media player interface. Is there a fix for this? Does anyone else experience this?

BF2 hugs the memory and when you close BF2 - it does take a little while before releasing it !

Poorly coded application sadly - been it's problem from day one - some tweaking done but still not perfect and sadly not bug free either !

its called the information/programs that wasnt really being used (everything else other than bf2) were put onto ur pagefile which is like ram, but its on ur harddrive and ur harddrive is slow (all of them are), so it has to take files from ur pagefile and put it back onto ur ram, so everything is slow for a few secs while it does that

also, if u want to not have that, u can try disabling ur pagefile, which isnt that recommended, but it will prevent that from happening

can i "disable my pagefile" only for certain programs? such as windows media player and internet explorer?
