Because there isn't a vehicle in this game that won't be destroyed with one bomb + some cannon fire. Why waste two bombs on one tank when you can take out two?

OR AN EVEN MORE PRACTICAL WAY THAT ALLOWS GIVES U MORE CHOICE. IF U WANNA DROP 2 BOMBS, HOLD THE BUTTON. IF U WANNA DROP 1 BOMB ONLY, DROP THE FIRST ONE AND QUICKLY PRESS f SO IT GOES TO MISSILE MODE.

absolutley, must be a keyboard thing. I can always drop 1 bomb if I want (even if I have 2+)

Just rearm with only one bomb, go blow something up, and then come back and completely fill up. Next time you use your bomb, you will only drop them one at a time.

ok yeah use only one bomb on the target b/c thats all it takes but the way you guys are saying it the only way to get one bomb is to only rearm with one bomb- so if your rearming with only one why not just rearm with 2? i understand the not wanting to tk part but if theyre close enough to be hit with 2 bombs i really doubt only having one bomb is gonna make that much of a difference - never mind the fact that your needlessly exposing yourself to enemy fighters/AA while trying to line up a precision run. its not like we have laser guided munitions in bf we have our eyes and our best judgement and it would seem to me that having 2 bombs instead of one would double the chance of hitting your target. on another note if your friendlies are with in the blast radius of the bombs theyre gonna die anyway with one bomb b/c the blast of the tank equals the same force of the absent bomb. also if you miss the intended target either youll kill them with the bombs or the enemy you missed will kill them. either way they die and youve either tked them or allowed them to be killed which on the grand scale is pretty much the same except you dont lose points in one. anyway i guess my point is itd make more sense to me to just use both bombs rather than needlessly wasting time trying to get just one.
